When the crocuses poke their buds out of the brown soil in spring, a lively time begins at the Holzner. Every year, the house opens its doors a week before Easter and welcomes its guests in beautiful Oberbozen until January.
The beauty of the historic house in interplay with contemporary architecture, the rugged peaks and soft hills in the distance, warmth and hospitality are just as much a part of the year-round experience as the timeless relaxation offered by the Liberty Spa and the excellent award-winning cuisine of head chef Stephan Zippl and his kitchen team. And yet the lush, blooming mountain summer offers completely different experiences to the refreshingly cool and calm start of winter, and the Holzner is different in promising spring than in the colourful, golden South Tyrolean autumn.
It is therefore just as impossible to say when it is best to travel to the Holzner as it is to say which of the 19 room categories in the hotel will be your favourite. But we can tell you what you can expect at the Holzner in which season.
