We are winners of the BigSEE Architecture Awards 2021

We are delighted about the sensational recognition of our efforts to carry the Holzner into the future with bold concepts and a sense for timeless aesthetics.
"The Holzner's aesthetics as an Alpine Art Nouveau building are now timeless." Following this premise, the architect duo bergmeisterwolf from Brixen took part in the architecture competition announced by the Holzner family in 2012 and anticipated the architectural development of the house for the coming decades.

Over the following almost 10 years, Gerd Bergmeister and Michaela Wolf have become sensitive, forward-looking and courageous partners and friends of the house and the family. Together we shaped a place of timeless beauty that will be of lasting value for generations to come.

The fact that now, after the completion of the gradual extensions, our endeavour to create a timeless architecture, a link between past and present, has been awarded the prestigious international BigSEE Architecture Award 2021 is recognition and confirmation to us that the search for sustainable solutions and timeless quality always pays off.

And we want to thank: the expert jury of the BigSEE Awards for their appreciation; Gerd Bergmeister and Michaela Wolf for their special sensitivity and also for their courage; all the partners involved in the construction for their reliability and care; all our staff and family members for their understanding and loyalty; and last but not least our guests for their support and appreciation.
